  • We have three different programs which have different pricing. And we also offer endorsements. We highly recommend calling our office at 630-299-3434 or showing up in-person at our location 31W780 Poss Rd, Aurora, IL 60502

  • Our basic program is estimated to be completed within 5-7 weeks. (Please know this depends on the student’s dedication to the program and whether or not they’re studying). By the secretary of state law, a student cannot graduate before 4 weeks. As well the student has to have a permit for 2 weeks before they can be placed for an exam date. Additionally, the student has to complete minimum 160 hours before graduating.

    • A Valid Driver's License State of Illinois that won’t expire within a year

    • Be at least 18 years old or older

    • Have legal proof of residency in the United States: Social security, two proofs of address, Birth Certificate/passport

    • Be a U.S citizen or resident.

    • Call the secretary of state at 312-793-1010 if you’re not certain.

  • A new class starts every Monday. You don’t need a permit to start school. If you don’t have a permit, we will help you get your permit by providing you with our study guides. Please call the office for more information regarding on how to obtain your permit. Our office phone is: (630) 299-3434.

  • Yes ,we help students obtain their permit in Spanish and in English. There are three “written test” (it’s multiple choice), that you must take on the computer at the secretary of state.

    1. General Knowledge can be taken in Spanish and English.

    2. Combination must be taken in English.

    3. Air brakes can be taken in Spanish and English.

    *NOTE: Must be taken in that order. And the student must understand English.

  • Classes run from Monday-Saturday. The permit class is Monday-Saturday. Classes for the permit are considered independent study time. Your hours will count as long as you’re in the school building. You may come in at anytime (as long as the office is open) to complete your hours.

    The Pre-Trip class

    • Occurs Monday-Saturday. Monday, Wednesday, Friday classes are from; 10am-2pm & 4pm-7pm. Tuesday classes are from; 10am-2pm & 4pm-5:30pm. Thursday class is from 3pm-5pm. And on Saturday’s the class is from 10am-2pm.

    • During the time that class isn’t occurring, students are welcomed to do observation hours (with instructor permission). The student has the option to stay from opening to closing and or just to choose a specific class time/day.

  • It isn’t mandatory to attend school everyday. But keep in mind you have to complete 160 hours in order to graduate. Half of the hours are done in class and the other half on the road and in the yard.

  • You would have to get in-contact with One-Stop Career Resource Center, you may call at 630-762-2120 to see if you qualify, just let them know CDL America Inc recommended you. That you want more information on how you can qualify for the WIOA program, to get your CDL class A license. Keep in mind the process does take a little longer 1-3 months for them to approve you, before you even start class. They do require you to attend their workshops and submit a lot of paperwork, prior to even getting approved. Their email is info@worknetbatavia.com

  • Yes, we have a list of companies that are actively looking to hire graduates. Ask about this list upon graduating.

  • If you currently have a CDL class B license, with air brakes, then you will have to take the combination written test, at a cdl secretary of state facility. We do help you study, by providing you with our study guide and our application (for the practice test).

    If you currently have a CDL class C license then you will have to take the combination and air brakes written test’s, at a cdl secretary of state facility. We do help you study, by providing you with our study guides and our application (for the practice test).

  • Please call the secretary of state at 312-793-1010. They will be able to tell you more specifically what you need to complete.

  • Yes, our instructors are bilingual. They speak English and Spanish.

  • Yes, we do offer refresher courses, but they are handled on a case-by-case basis. You would need to contact the school in advance and provide your license number so we can review your record. From there, we can determine what you may be missing or what you’re looking to upgrade, and verify whether we’re able to assist you.

  • We can remove certain restrictions from your CDL Class A license. Specifically, we are able to remove the E restriction (automatic transmission), meaning we will train you on a manual transmission vehicle. We also offer training to remove the air brake restriction by teaching you on a semi-truck equipped with air brakes.

    Once you complete the training, we will also place you for the road test.
